Danny Copenhaver

Danny, a native of the mountains of southwest Virginia, brings over 30 years of sales and marketing expertise to the real estate industry. His career began in education, where he served as a teacher, coach, and assistant principal, before transitioning into sales as a Field Sales Manager in school fundraising. During his 25 years at Reader’s Digest, Danny earned top producer awards, incentive trips, and recognition as a leader in account growth and retention. He retired in 2004, leaving behind a legacy of success.

Following his retirement, Danny joined the sales team at Promontory, a premier ranch club in Park City, Utah, spanning 6,500 acres with breathtaking views of Deer Valley, Park City, and the Canyons ski resorts. After meeting his sales goals, he moved to Columbia, South Carolina, to contribute to a project on Lake Murray and later returned to Wilmington, North Carolina, working as an on-site agent at TidalWalk, a seaside community.

Danny is currently a key member of Albemarle Sound Property Advisors (ASPA), where he leverages his extensive real estate and sales experience to help clients navigate the waterfront and resort property market in Eastern North Carolina.

A passionate fan of ACC and SEC football and basketball, Danny channels the same dedication and energy into his real estate business. On weekends, you’ll often find him cheering on the Gamecocks, Cavaliers, Pirates, or Hokies.
